CHAPEL HILL HIGH SCHOOL
NAVY JUNIOR ROTC PROGRAM
Our program includes four years of academic course study and follows the Navy Core Values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment. In addition to academic studies, cadets can participate in physical activities and various team-building exercises. This program allows cadets to grow life skills they will use whether they decide to join the military or move on to the workforce after high school.

CHHS NJROTC is a personal development program for 9th-12th grade students that helps young cadets earn course credit and become better versions of themselves by instilling the values of:

Chief Marqueta Grant
SENIOR NAVAL SCIENCE INSTRUCTOR
Chief (Ret.) Marqueta Grant is a 22-year U.S. Navy Veteran and former Chief Petty Officer recognized for her leadership, integrity, and dedication to mentoring others. She holds advanced degrees in Business Management, Accountancy, and Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Phoenix.
She now serves as the Senior Naval Science Instructor for the NJROTC program at Chapel Hill High School, where she is committed to developing disciplined, responsible, and service-minded leaders.
